Plastering Services
Plaster Skimming – using a thin layer of plaster, normally 2mm-3mm thick, we skin the existing flat surface or plasterboard. As a result, it leaves a smooth, seamless finish ready for decoration.
Two Coat Plastering – this process involves a backing plaster and top coating applied to a solid surface.
Float and Set – this is a traditional 2-coat system used for plastering on blockwork or brickwork. It is otherwise known as wet plastering. It involves a wet undercoat plaster which is later skimmed ready for decorating. Subsequently, it offers a much greater sound density than boards and is an excellent insulator.
Plaster-Boarding Services
Drylining– fixed to existing walls, ceilings or timber framing using tape and cement then sanded smooth ready for decorating.
Plaster-Boarding – fixed to existing walls, ceilings or timber farming ready for plaster skimming.
Cornice and Coving – In addition, we can supply and fit any choice of coving and cornice to finish the look.
