Our years of experience allow us to deliver quality plastering services in a timely and professional manner. Plastering is messy! Consequently, our team takes great care to protect your carpets, furniture, floors, and wall coverings.
Furthermore, we assign more people to each job and as a result we complete the job faster, minimizing household disruptions. In addition, we always leave the house neat and tidy when we are done.
Plaster Skimming – using a thin layer of plaster, normally 2mm-3mm thick, we skin the existing flat surface or plasterboard. As a result, it leaves a smooth, seamless finish ready for decoration.
Two Coat Plastering – this process involves a backing plaster and top coating applied to a solid surface.
Float and Set – this is a traditional 2-coat system used for plastering on blockwork or brickwork. It is otherwise known as wet plastering. It involves a wet undercoat plaster which is later skimmed ready for decorating. Subsequently, it offers a much greater sound density than boards and is an excellent insulator.
Drylining– fixed to existing walls, ceilings or timber framing using tape and cement then sanded smooth ready for decorating.
Plaster-Boarding – fixed to existing walls, ceilings or timber farming ready for plaster skimming.
Cornice and Coving – In addition, we can supply and fit any choice of coving and cornice to finish the look.
